When ESPN continually feels the need to show the empire state building during Rutgers football games and say things like "Rutgers is a mere thirty minutes from New York City."
Um, really? How are YOU getting to New York ESPN? Unless you're taking a private freaking jet, you will not be getting ANYWHERE near New York in a half hour.
I think it's about time for New York to GET THEIR OWN SPORTS TEAMS!
Giants - practice and play in New Jersey.
Jets - practice and play in New Jersey.
Rutgers - 100% New Jersey and in no way connected to New York so please stop taking credit for our recent success and stealing New Jersey's thunder!
I am done now.

Wow. I had no idea, but I'm glad to have been enlightened as to New York's shameful shameless team-stealing.
Hah! Jersey Pride. A long time coming and Jersey has long gotten a bum rap.
On a recent cross-country roadtrip, I tried to convince my niece that we should include Jersey because there are so many beautiful parts (seriously, especially near the Delaware border and at Cape May.)
She wasn't having it. She'd watched too much Sopranos.
On the strength of your Jersey Pride, I've added you to my blogroll.
Ah, at least my home town team (Green Bay Packers) still plays in its home town.
Damn, what's New Jersey?
I kid, I kid.
Kevin Smith rules.
Wow, it seems like someone pulled out your dreadlocks tonight!
What's that saying... "Which exit?" :-)
Oo-oooooo. Bad day was it?
Joke! I know exactly where you're coming from. Just 'cos NY decided it was a county as well as a city...
makes you think.
obviously many of your readers do not go to the good parts of new jersey. Maybe they should realize most of new jersey is not like newark or camden, but pretty and green with farms and flowers and mountains and cuteness.
