Sweet Tooth Thursdays: Buttery Pecan Rounds

Why yes, they DO taste as heavenly as they look.  

Dare I even say, MORE heavenly?

Wafer thin and crispy, they literally melt in your mouth.  

(Hey, that's what a recipe that's 99% butter will do)

The general consensus is that they taste like Christmas.

Final product went slightly awry when my cookie scoop ended up being a tad larger than the one Martha recommends.  

Read:  I peered in the oven and saw a cookie tray full of pecan pancakes.

Oops.
