3 days

It's pretty weird.
To say, "I'm getting married on Sunday."
Sunday as in THIS Sunday.
As in three days from now.
Not soon. Not next year. Not in a few months.
THIS Sunday.

And when you are getting married everyone is just so incredibly nice to you and gives you cards and sends you gifts and even more than that offers you herbal tea at work and offers to go on a walk with you because they think you might have to burn off some excess energy and they "kidnap" you and take you downtown for lunch and coffee because they know you're feeling restless since it's your last day in the office for ten days and you're getting married on SUNDAY afterall so you're having some difficult concentrating.
For a short period of time in your life, when you're engaged and very close to your wedding, everyone becomes even more caring and sweet and compassionate as you take a huge step towards something that (godwilling) is a once in a lifetime experience.

It's pretty damn awesome.

I'm so excited for you!! I don't even know how you've managed to sit through work this week. Have a beautiful wedding, my dear. I'm visiting in December, so I want to see pics then!

Enjoy it lady, enjoy it. I'm sort of wistful for all that is ahead of you over these next two days, and really two weeks (oh, the honeymoon).

I can't wait to hear how it went, we'll all be waiting and waving on the other side.
