That's the best word to describe this morning's commute.
That is Route 1. aka a major roadway thru central jersey. aka not at all plowed.
There was supposed to be "maybe a dusting" this morning, then a serious snow storm tonight.
Well, looks like things did not go as planned.
Crawled down Rt 1 in rush hour traffic as roads became worse and worse, and finally gave up (when I was a mere 15 min away from work) and stopped at a cafe. Had tea and almond croissant and waited for a break.
Some serious fear that I was going to be stuck in Princeton for the long haul.
Fortunately, after avoiding the losers flying by in their SUVs at 60 mph, I made it home safely.
Phew.
