I just saw this very interesting NY Times article via Design Sponge about taking design inspiration from college students, the leading experts at making the best of a small space on a tight budget. The article slideshow has a whole slew of unique home design solutions.
The problem with this article? Pretty much all of the students featured here are pursuing design or architecture degrees from specialized schools. This is clearly not your Joe Schmo college kid. I would be more interested in seeing apartments from students who are not pursuing a career in design.
