When you order one of those delicious mango-banana-pineapple smoothies you've been craving on your way to work, and as they're making it you see a little sign near the cash register... "credit card minimum $10"... and remember you only have $4 in your wallet... and the man rings you up and says $4.59 and you look all awkward and flustered and hold up a debit card and apologize profusely and say you only have $4, but you can run to the ATM real fast or maybe... and he smiles and takes your not-enough money and says "Just make sure you come back another time then, miss."
It pays to wear a cute dress.
